Service was excellent. We would certainly use you again.
Original booking experience was good. Two weeks prior to our departure we were called and advised that the boat we had booked had been crashed and so not available to us. Le Boat offered us an equivalent boat, but on a different canal in a different area of France. We were asked to pay the original holiday price which was 20% more expensive than being advertised on the day we were notified of the required change. Le Boat were extremely unwilling to compensate us even in any small way for the last minute changes and the large amount of inconvenience caused to us. The customer experience would have been far better if the current selling price had been offered to us. We had to fight hard to get the reduced price, which was eventually given.
Overall service good, although the receptionist at Tannay was not welcoming. Our boat broke during our trip, and was fixed speedily. Great service from the boat engineer..

The boat which we knew was old was not in a good state of repair. The fridge did function properly, which difficult in the extremely hot weather we experienced.

The reception staff and engineers couldnt have been more helpful. However our overall experience was very disappointing. This was partly due to the weather and partly the condition of the cruiser.
Unfortunately we had to call out the engineer on more than one occasion in the week that we had on the boat of our 2 weeks booked holiday. The shower would not empty firstly then the gas alarm went off and the egineer had to correct a fault. Finally, after horrendous conditions, the boat sprung a hole in the hull and we had to abandon the boat. Le Boat did offer another cruiser for our second week, but owing to the fact the canals were closed for safety reasons due to flooding, we declined and cut short our holiday. Very disappointing in all respects as we could not travel to our selected destination. In our opinion the Countess was looking very tired and due a refit or retirement!
