Perfect from start to finish. We've been on several Le Boat trips, and loved them all.
Good route. My wife and I had done most of it before, but this time loved showing it to friends.
LeBoat did their best to compensate us for a last minute unexpected change to our booked trip (9 days instead of 11) and local staff were very responsive to our needs. Seeing the Canal de Midi and Canal Robine by barge was a wonderful experience.We would rather have booked our trip in Euros rather than American dollars.
Local staff responded quickly to issues along the route (flat tire on bike, engine overheating). The staff were excellent at both ends of the trip. Seeing the Canal de Midi and Robine by boat was a fantastic experience. The quaint villages and peaceful country side were a delight to explore on the bikes we purchased.
They offered great support service.
I would like to qualify this - the service from the South African branch was outstanding.The service from the office at Trebes was also excellent. However, our gas bottles were not filled leaving us stranded at 9.30pm on our fourth night half way through cooking a meal. This resulted in us having to eat dinner at the one and only restaurant in Paradza at a cost of Euro 200 for the 2 families. The Homps guys were amazing and ensured that the bottles were replaced early the next morning. When I discussed this with the agent at Narbonne, he agreed to take euro 100 off our diesel bill. I, however, remain uncertain whether he actually did deduct the money or pretended to deduct the money. Our engine time seemed rather excessive.

Boat wasn't ready until 5.30pm, pick up time was 4pm. Receptionist at Trebes was nice at first but as time went on developed an "I don't care" attitude as more people were waiting! We were advised we would be given compensation to make up for the generator being broken, however at Narbonne this was refused by another abrupt office person!
The location was lovely. All the stops we made we had a nice time. Le Somail was very nice place.
