From planning the trip to getting the boat and dropping the boat off, everyone was very helpful making sure that we fully understood what was happening. We had a problem with the air conditioning the first day and the office made sure that they did all they could to fix it, including giving us a refund for delaying our trip. The boat was a perfect size for two couples...each cabin was large enough and having two heads and showers was perfect. The deck section was spacious and well laid out.

My husband and I had a wonderful time on the Canal du Midi. We rented the Royal Mystique A, and it was a little much/big for just two people (our other couple backed out at the last minute). Since I was the only "crew" (I'm a 66 year old woman), dealing with the locks many times a day became a pain. All that physical activity did work off all the bread I was eating, and wine I was drinking, so that was a silver lining! Our forward cabin's toilet always smelled horribly, no matter how much cleaner I put in it, and even not using it didn't help (thus only 4 stars). Everything else worked well. The kitchen was well put together, and very easy to cook in. I would recommend buying their cleaning pack, as the products were very good. We would do this again, either with a smaller boat, or a younger couple to help with the locks! Great boat, just a little too big for 2 people.
We are so glad you had a wonderful time on your trip and were even able to find silver linings to anything that wasn't perfect. We have taken your feedback forward to our staff and thank you for taking the time to write us. We hope to welcome you again soon. Perhaps to a destination with full lock staff. Canada perhaps!

Our check-in experience in Homps was very good. The administration staff were efficient and quick. Mikaela took us through an excellent tutorial on all facets of operating the Royal Mystique 23 that we hired. Port Cassafierre were equally efficient with out check out. We did have a problem with one of the toilets from the outset where faeces etc kept coming back up into the toilet bowl. It caused the couple staying in that cabin considerable stress with the bad odour. As it was happening on the first day it would be very surprising if the people who had the boat before us hadn’t reported it. Also the gas ran out on day 4 although all we had done was boil the kettle and Mikaela had said we wouldn’t need it touch it. We were very careful to turn the gas off completely after each use as instructed. Lovely boat with a few dings and scratches but overall suited us well..

the boat was excellent and the whole Le Boat experience from start to end was spot on . Reception staff very helpful. did it last year with a different company and although we all had a great time the boat was poor compared to le boat . it was the Mystique A . we also booked hire bikes which we used many times. Will definitely get this boat again . the boat was very clean and seemed quite a new boat. beds comfy and hot showers . Couldn't fault anything

The transfer from the airport was easy to arrange on arrival at Venice Airport. The journey was not long(about 30 mins) the staff at the base were very helpful and arranged with a local driver to take us to the nearby supermarket for provisions. So getting afloat was simple. The journey had only 1 lock (automatic) the lagoon is great. We moored at the le boat sites on Burano and Choggia and at the new marina at Venice, all trouble free. The food was great and good value, every where! WE have had great trips on the french canals and rivers , but this was even better. We expect to go again from here, but to visit other places (Padova and Jessolo) Hopefully next year A good boat, it even had Air con , a good base with good staff/Users/jamesstewart/Desktop/IMG_3946.jpg
Dear James,
Thank you for your five star review.
We are pleased to hear that you love Venice as much as we do! Our customers' feedback is very important to us and we will share your comments with the Base teams.
We look forward to welcoming you on board again soon.

What a delightfully fun interactive trip along the Canal du Midi! Although our "training" was in mostly French, we adapted quickly and mastered the boat along the Canal. Le Boat staff were incredibly helpful in our pre-planning, answering questions, helpful when we had an electrical issue and stopped by their hubs along the way, and sent us merrily along the way. A delightful staff both in Canada / US and in person along the Canal. A true treasure of a trip. Boat was clean and most welcoming! Interactive, everyone had a role! Beautiful scenery, grand docking spots, awesome spots to purchase food and wine and spices to allow us to cook on board and watch the stars! All smiles the entire 7 days! Our lodging was comfortable - absolutely no rocking of the boat, great weather, awesome views! BBQ pit was fun!
